Default Katie Price accused of FAKING diet ad by pretending to drink health shot on camera

Quote:

Katie Price has faced backlash for advertising a diet drink on her Instagram , but not actually drinking it herself.

The mum-of-five took to social media to promote Boom Bod's weight loss shot drinks – which promise to help you shed the pounds in a week if taken three times a day.

Sharing a video of herself preparing the health shots, she wrote: "I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this @boombod stuff is unreal! Each shot is just 10 cals and tastes amazing.

"I’m a week in and already seeing great progress. It’s so easy too. All you moms know how hard it can be to stay consistent when you’re trying to manage a household. Can’t wait to see what a few more days brings."

However, some of her followers noticed it looked as it she faked taking a sip of the florescent pink mixture at the end of the video.

"She has yet to drink any of this in her ads. This is like the 4th or 5th time and she just won’t drink it," one angry viewer commented after watching the sponsored post.

Meanwhile, another added: "Maybe also drink it not pretend too...might be more convincing," while a third chipped in: "Think you might have to drink a bit more to convince us it tastes amazing Katie".

Moments after she posted the video to her Instagram grid, Katie also shared a story of the product alongside a pile of chocolate and crisps which lay in the corner of the shot.

Mirror Online has contacted Katie's representative for comment.

This isn't the only time the reality star has come under fire online this week, as some fans also kicked off as it looked as if her 16-year-old son Harvey, who is severely disabled, was sharing sponsored posts on his own public page.

As Harvey posed outside a shop call Fatboys and told fans it was his favourite place to buy clothes, one fan accused Katie of "exploiting Harvey for [her] own gain."

However, Katie was quick to defend her decision to let her son have an account, exclusively telling Mirror Online: "Harvey is a 16 year old boy who wants his own Instagram account.
