That was probably the only year I was proper into it right from the very beginning (think it was because we'd all fooled ourselves into thinking we had a shot at winning ). I knew every song from every country and ugh it was just glorious <333 From songs about baking cakes to Conchita's winning moment of acceptance

Also the fact that there were no clear favourites made it 1000x better too Swear Conchita was like 12th fave or something before the semis started.
