Nice to have a good story
for a change

Kind-hearted Estonian workers rushed to rescue a dog in distress from a freezing river on Wednesday - unaware of the fact they were actually about to bundle a wild wolf into their car.

I hope, had they realised it was a wolf before the rescue, they would have still tried to save it.

I guess they may not have as they might have been worried about being attacked, nice ending to the story though

Wolves are huge, how could you mistake it for a dog? I saw a wild one in Ukraine once. Ran across the road in front of our car

Aww lovely! Good on them.

Would love to have seen their faces when the realisation kicked in that they'd been in the company of a wolf the whole time

Wolves aren't stupid, it will have known they were helping it which will be another reason for it not to attack. But yeah... Maybe not a good idea to assume it'll be as friendly after warming up and having a good sleep

The article says it's young, about a year old, so it won't be full size yet and probably about the size of a large dog.

I say to largest girl LT (who was born in Chiswick)
