Rushed justification after the fact.

Something isn't pointless just because you don't agree with it, these were commonly asked questions in the lead up to the vote. People were voting on something when a whole bunch of potential voters didn't know what the EU even was.

People are generally uninformed and it doesn't make them any less uninformed if they vote in a way you happen to like.

Yeah, totally the remainers fault, the leaver politcians are all so united in what they want brexit to be which is why they all voted the same way on the various brexit options.....Oh wait....
