I've had one for about 20 years now, it's a bit tender today.

I had one a few years back they are bloomin painful,I had to go to the surgery and have the nail removed.

It's not gout...I do remember it flared up about 2 years ago so I just ripped it out with my bare hands.....funny thing is at the time I would suffer from a sore back every 2nd week...never felt my back since ripping it out.

I had 7 verucas removed using giant needles when I was seven...I'm not going to scream another hospital down.
