Default Morrissey performs on ‘Jimmy Fallon’ while wearing a For Britain badge

Morrissey wore a For Britain badge during his appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon May 13.

The musician performed on the US TV show in support of his upcoming covers album, ‘California Son’, which is released on Friday (May 17).

During the performance of Jobriath’s ‘Morning Starship’, a badge with the right-wing group’s trident logo could be seen on the label of Morrissey’s blazer. You can watch footage of his Tonight Show appearance belo in link.

Last year, Morrissey spoke about his support of the party, which was founded by former UKIP member Anne Marie Waters in 2017. The musician said the party “finally” gave him “hope” and denied that the group held racist motives.

“For Britain has received no media support and have even been dismissed with the usual childish ‘racist’ accusation,” he said. “I don’t think the word ‘racist’ has any meaning anymore, other than to say “you don’t agree with me, so you’re a racist.” People can be utterly, utterly stupid.”

His comments followed him publishing an open letter declaring his support for For Britain, in which he said he “despises” racism and fascism. “I would do anything for my Muslim friends, and I know they would do anything for me,” he wrote in the letter. “In view of this, there is only one British political party that can safeguard our security. That party is For Britain.”

He's always been a hack of a musician, nothing he has done since the Smiths has been good and he's a **** to boot, it doesn't surprise me to see him bleating on with the usual 'wah! I can't say racist things without being accused of racism anymore!' **** that every racist spouts.

-1 - Jimmy Fallon is getting most of the flack for allowing it.

2- Morrissey has always been like this. I remember him once saying he didnt like Reggae simply cuz he knew it'd cause controversy. For me, nothing to see here other than that well known tw@t Morrissey acting like a tw*t ...again.

3- Johnny Marr was the real talent in the Smiths.

Waters was filmed advocating the reduction of Muslim birthrates, stopping Muslim immigration and accusing the EU of conspiring to turn Europe into an Islamic state

Y'know, stuff like that

Why would reducing the increase of muslims in the West be a bad thing? A large number of muslims isn't exactly beneficial.

'Stopping' =/= reducing. And that's before we get into the problems of managing immigration based on someone's religion

Honestly if you think in any way that Anne Marie Waters and For Britain promote reasonable politics then it either says something pretty sinister about your own views or you don't know enough about them

No, it's utter dirge. I love the Smiths but everything Morrissey does is just.... Bleh. Can't stand him.
