I don't go to the cinema, but if I wanted to see a movie then of course I'd go alone. Why would you care what anybody else thinks anyway?

I prefer going with people so you can talk about it afterwards but I've gone on my own for films that my friends aren't typically interested in. I think the last films I saw on my own were Isle of Dogs and Love, Simon.

I don't like going on my own, I like someone to talk about it with after but nothing wrong with going on your own at all.

This is kinda random but once I accidentally booked the disabled seats which are up a lift and you go down a narrow corridoor and into a closed off box with 2 seats and it was just me and my boyfriend watching a horror (iirc The Nun) and he went the toilet and I was ****ting myself all on my own so I'd be scared to see a horror on my own!

It's literally sitting in the dark watching a movie, nothing wrong with going on your own if there's something you want to see . they'll always be some other people going on their own .

It's like people who think it's weird to go to a restaurant on your own

You know, take control of your life! Live it! Do what you want, find new experiences bcos you never know whats round the corner

New Italian restaurant round the corner? Visit it! Don't wait for the opportunity to pass you by

I go to the cinema maybe 6 or 7 times a year and it's usually alone . I like it! Especially on quiet days. But I like my own company because I'm awesome .

My wife has been with me three times in the last year and that's an unusual amount ... she wanted to see Bohemian Rhapsody and Pikachu and I managed to convince her to come to Captain Marvel . In general though, I only go to the cinema to see action / blockbuster type films and no one else in my family is a fan. We watch plenty of movies together but for "quieter" films we all prefer watching at home .

Go on like a Tuesday lunchtime and you'll only see 3 or 4 other people the whole time

I adore going to the cinema by myself. There's nothing better than being in that environment and atmosphere by yourself, and getting into a really good film.

When I was at university I went by myself at least 15-20 times. I used to go the Silver Cinema screenings a lot where tickets were only £3, and it used to be me and a theatre full of pensioners

They built a new ODEON while I was there, which was gorgeous. The IMAX theatre was enormous.

i've been away from home on business loads of times, many of which were on my own. You have the choice of sitting vegetating in a hotel room or getting out, seeing the area, eating, drinking and sampling the entertainment. Loads of people do their own thing, on their own, every single day.
