I'm gonna try and do this chronologically.


January

Eastenders
What a way to start the year! And this was only the beginning with what we had in store for Eastenders during 2014. Our fallen angel Ronnie leaving us wigless whilst the UK were still hungover from new years eve

Just days after Ronnie claimed her victim we were blessed with another classic CBB January series with a storyline that had the nation hooked!

Grammy Awards
And if soap operas and reality TV wasn't enough to keep you warm during this winter we had an iconic opening to the 2014 Grammys by no other than Queen Bey herself! She performed "Drunk In Love" with her husband Jay-Z from the surprise album she dropped just a few weeks prior

Spice - So Mi Like It

What?? We're still in January!?!? Now, whether you were black, white or asian you ALL knew about this incredible track from Spice which had EVERYONE twerking throughout the whole year. Spice has continued to bless us with bops but this was the bop of all bops which truly shook the world

I'd argue you give far too much love to Tina's death in Corrie, that whole story was awful considering the sole reason Rob killed her was over a dodgy hairdryer but slay at the rest. EastEnders was incredible that year.

I think it's different when you think of something in hindsight because at the time I remember it being quite compelling. Corrie usually has weak backstories anyway so I'm not surprised at the hairdryer part
