Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has been hit with claims that much of her brand new collection with Pretty Little Thing consists of re-releases of old PLT pieces. The collection was launched yesterday, and fans quickly realised that many of the items looked familiar. One fan wrote on Twitter: ‘I literally ordered this PLT skirt on 22/11/2018. And it’s now in the collection apparently designed by Molly Mae with the exact same item name?’

Others replied to that tweet with their own examples, including one user who wrote: ‘[I’ve] had this blazer so long i dont even have the order confirmation email anymore’.

Another pointed out the fact that they bought a blazer in March that appeared to be part of Molly-Mae’s collection.

A representative for Pretty Little Thing told MailOnline: ‘Molly has been fully involved in the design process of this collection and has worked extremely hard with our team of in house designers in bringing her collection to life.’

‘She came to us with a mood board of ideas and we sketched some new styles which are in the collection as well as introducing new colours on a very small amount of already existing lines.’

It isn’t her fault PLT have approached her with previous items to add to her collection. She’s obviously given her input, they’ve realised they have similar items and instead of advising against using them and designing something else they’ve been lazy and rereleased ex stock.

Dont think she claimed to be the designer she picks stuff from their catalogue to add to her collection.
