This is one of the reasons I hate horse racing ,it may be all pomp and ceremony and makes loads of money but these poor animals are not always treated in the humane way some would like us to believe , besides all the behind the scene deaths from racing, this is also going on, they are beautiful animals and just treated like this by us as though they are literally a piece of meat.
