2. Take a virtual stroll

Work off all that food with a virtual hike through nature thanks to the ''Natuurmonumenten''’s menu of 19 virtual walks through some of the Netherlands’ prime beauty spots, such as the Sallandse Heuvelrug ín Overijssel and the Onlanden of Groningen. And if you are missing all the tulips during lockdown, you can still explore this year’s blooms at the Keukenhof via this hugely popular video, or get a bird’s eye view of the bulb fields with AirPano – although we recommend silencing the commentary.

3. Worship via wi-fi

Churches across the country are broadcasting Easter services to their armchair congregations, providing links to join in worship via their websites. Indebuurt.nl have listings of online church services according to location, such as this one for The Hague. One of the most unusual broadcasts comes from on board the KSCC Schippercentrum, moored in Nijmegen’s Waalhaven, allowing Roman Catholics to take part in a virtual water-borne mass, live-streamed on YouTube from 11am on Sunday. Amsterdam’s Westerkerk is streaming a specially recorded service, with music from Ensemble ‘t Kabinet and alto Ingeborg Bröcheler, at 3pm via Facebook on Good Friday.

4. Take a virtual mini-break

For people whose holiday plans have been cancelled due to the social distancing regulations, homesuitehome, which brands itself as the world’s first reversed hotel, is bringing the hotel experience to people in their own homes. Currently only available in Amsterdam and just for the Easter weekend, the concept offers a digital concierge service, online entertainment, a welcome box of locally-sourced products and the option of dinner in a bid to support local businesses struggling under lockdown.

5. Hunt for eggs

Children who enjoyed all the bear hunting during the corona crisis, can now seek out eggs, but this time from home. For families in Gelderland and Overijssel, the police have organised an egg hunt on Facebook. The top prize is a private doorstep performance from Agent Thijs, a 28-year-old singing policeman from Nijmegen, whose Queen cover recently went viral.A virtual egg hunt has also been organised in Amersfoort, and in Schiedam you can hunt for eggs using a 360 degree camera. In the capital, the Rijksmuseum is inviting people to take a virtual tour of its famous Gallery of Honour and take part in a digital egg hunt using a downloadable worksheet.

6. Lean back with Bach

Performances of Easter favourite Bach’s St Matthew Passion may have been cancelled across the country, but you can still enjoy this choral classic from your home. Concertzender.nl has curated a choice of three of its favourite versions to play from your living room, and at midday on Good Friday, NPO2 are showing a 2016 recording of the celebrated work performed by the Ars Musica Concert Choir and Orchestra in Leiden’s Pieterskerk.

The Voice Company Choir, whose Haarlem and Lelystad performances could not go ahead, are streaming the St Matthew Passion on Good Friday at 3pm and 8pm; and on the following day, from 2-3pm, residents of Deventer can hear one hour of highlights from the piece blasting out from the city’s Lebuinus Tower. If it’s being in a choir yourself that you are missing, sign up to a virtual choir with the smartly named Koorantaine.

7. Go on a special outing

The zoos might be closed but Burgers’ Zoo in Arnhem is offering a window on the animals via its Silent Zoo videos on YouTube and its 360 degree cameras inside enclosures and under water. If you’d hoped to go to Efteling, try riding the Baron or Joris en de Draak in 360 degrees – surprisingly scary.Once you’ve returned from your virtual day out, a magical evening’s entertainment is still possible with the National Ballet’s free streaming of the Nutcracker and the Mouse King at 7pm on Saturday 11, book-ended with the National Opera’s Parsifal (Friday, 2pm) and the Cunning Little Vixen (Sunday, 7pm).

as for these options i like the virtual tour ones the most, i mean 360 webcams are a very great alternate way to visit zoo's garden festivals here i guess
