Default How to skillfully avoid any responsibility.

Inspected tv and it has 206 watchdog errors..the tv has already had a new main pcb which I think was faulty, the original fault was tv freezing and not running wifi and control buttons not working..I tested all that today and they are all working, but now the tv is switching off after 5 minutes.

Although I told the customer that I think a new motherboard will repair it I'm not 100 percent as it's very rare for samsung to send us out faulty goods, and because of that I'm concerned another main pcb may go faulty overtime due to something else in the tv causing it to fail.(all fault errors point to main PCB though)

The customer doesn't want another repair as this has been going on since august and had 3 trips to her house and she is uncomfartable having more people into her house during these covid times.

Please contact customer and explain the next steps to her today please as she has an appointment tomorrow..

That was my last email today.: 50 quid into the back pocket

My boss replied, samsung wont replace if the tv is over 30 days old..

My fingers were like, eh, that's really crap pal, the womans got a point. Cant we as a separate company do something for her..

Whilst my heads going, 25 quid each way on a 16/1 shot.

It lost

Don't they have 12 months warranty? I'd be putting it back in the box and taking it back to the shop not faffing abut with repairs. Shoddy crap TV.

We agree for a change Kizzy - a TV bought less than 6 months ago going faulty? Straight back to the retailer.
