HUNKY Ziggy’s former pop pals paid a HOOKER to pop his cherry on his 16th birthday.

He visited the 150-an-hour tart after bandmates — including Blue star Duncan James — had a WHIP ROUND.

David Bromfield, 28 — who sang with Ziggy in pop flops Volume 5 — told how the then shy blond teenager spent 30 minutes with the vice girl and emerged “grinning like a Cheshire cat”.

He said: “We were all out in London, larking about because it was Ziggy’s 16th birthday.

“We had a few drinks — except Ziggy as our management wouldn’t let him drink.

“The rest of us had already lost our virginity but Ziggy — being the youngest in the band — hadn’t, so we used to tease him about it.

“It was his birthday and we all had a bit of cash on us so we decided to have a whip-round and get him laid.

“We handed over £100 and went off to Soho in search of the red light district.

“He picked a hooker and then disappeared inside a building with her. We stayed outside giggling.

“He was away for about 30 minutes or so and he came out grinning like a Cheshire cat.” David added his boyband chum — real name Zac Lichman — refused to give a detailed account of what he had been up to.

He said: “He was being really cool about it, saying he hadn’t done anything — but he had this glint in his eye that told us he had.

“I mean, come on, a young lad goes in to see a prostitute and then comes out with a grin like that.”

Ziggy, now 26, went on to bed a string of beauties through singing with Volume 5 and later chart band Northern Line.

David revealed: “We used to have loads of girls after us when we were in the band.

“We once performed in front of 8,000 people as a support act to Katrina and the Waves.

“There were hundreds of screaming girls at that gig — let’s just say they weren’t there to see Katrina.”

Former Volume 5 member Sal Ozba has already told how Ziggy had a THREESOME with two 17-year-old girls when he was still 16.

He said: “We watched him one night getting it on with two girls and the whole thing was just amazing.

“Most guys can only ever dream of having a threesome, but Ziggy did it when he was just a teenager.”

Inside the Big Brother house Ziggy has been getting up close and personal with leggy Chanelle.

But he doesn’t always get things his own way.

He spoke yesterday of how he was dumped by a girlfriend a week before entering the house.

He told Jonathan he would not swallow his pride and ask the girl to take him back.

He insisted: “I won’t go crawling back . . . I’ve also met someone else.”
