Default Helen to get down and dirty

OK, Phew, this Helen on the box reporting is keeping me busy now! I really think all those e-mails must have paid off folks, she is much more high profile.

Today Helen went dressed in a tu-tu to join a 'New York Ballet '- style dance/exercise class, which she obviously enjoyed enormously. I do have to say she was the most juno-esque one in the class bless her, but she looked glowing!

She was also on the couch live with Lorraine, and explained that she is going off to do lots more exercise seeking projects, including an assault course with lots of soldiers. That should be a great comedy number I suspect!

This may mean, of course, that we see her in little pre-recorded sessions for the most part. At least they have thought of something else for her to do, and there is still the tremendously exciting beauty bar on Fridays to keep her live appearances up.

I am going to email Sky/GMTV to suggest they have Helen doing regular Big Brother spots on both when it's up and running again. Probably this would be a better prospect for GMTV, and I think they should use their in-house talent, don't you?

Anyone else care to join me and Feefs in this project? (Her idea BTW). We all know the power of e-mails, and the programme planners must already be considering what to do about it!

I think she could do it! so lets get going!

Excellent news! Many thanks, ace reporter ROB.

At last the Lorraine programme have recognised they have a valuable asset in Helen and are giving her more varied and interesting things to do. And it also must mean that she has been given quite a lengthy extension to her contract.

The assault course project sounds fascinating - I can just hear her now: 'My hair .... watch my hair!!' and 'Have I got mud on my face?' and 'that grass has gone right up my nose!.

No worries, ROB - I'll definitely be sending an e-mail to Sky pointing out how perfect Helen would be to present BB spots when the new programme starts. They certainly seem to have taken note of your previous e-mails, haven't they?

Just one small point - Helen used to appear on Lorraine on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Have her days changed now, as she seems to be on most days recently (which is even better!)

It seems to be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays now, although yesterday they showed Helen live and pre-recorded from ?Monday, today she was live and pre-recorded from?yesterday. She is next in on Friday, doing the live Beauty Bar. (Euurrgh! I sometimes have a reality check like now, and think: 'What on earth am I doing sitting here writing about this?' OK, it's passed now!)

I like to think that a little synchronising is going on, and at least one day off in the week is kept strictly for canoodling purposes. ,

whilst the sap is still rising and they both feel at the sight of each other,

and before she gets to that stage when she looks lovingly and hopefully across at her OH only to see that he is either

watching the football, or is just

in the bloody chair!!!!!!!!!!!

Get in there girl, it doesn't last long!!!

Well, amazingly, even though I almost didn't watch Lorraine today, Helen was on. Live in the studio, in fact, which is surprising because yesterday morning they both seemed to think she wouldn't be back until Friday!

She spent the whole show with DJ Heaven, trying to learn to do whatever DJ's do, mixing and sliding stuff then did a little session at the end.

I have to say, sorry, I know I have no need to talk, but the lass is certainly 'thriving'. I hope Mr Clarke likes something to get hold of, of an evening.

She is looking very happy and glowing though, something is putting the roses in her cheeks at the moment......................

Nice pic bananarama and Mark! She looks a happy little bunny doesn't she? Like me however, the buttons gape in all the wrong places!

Helen was of course funny today, but not given too much chance to do her own thing. She took the lesson seriously, and did her best bless her. I think she is happy being a regular part of it all

That's a beautiful picture of Helen - thanks Bananarama and Mark.

Can't say she looks any different to me, Wildchild, but I suppose we all change a little after eight months and if you haven't seen her since BB ended ............

I know what you mean Wildchild, but I think it's just the camera angle.

It's a nice picture though.

Bless her, I do think she is a little less toned than she was. Obviously not running on batteries any more, but looking radiant.

Who wouldn't smile in her situation though!

Thanks to bananarama - that's a lovely picture of Helen. She really suits that shade of blue, and is looking SO happy!

Thanks also to ROB for another excellent update about Helen on Lorraine. She'll be able to compare DJ-ing notes with Paul now, 'cause I seem to remember he was shown how to do record mixing when he did his reporting stint from Ibiza.

I would just like to announce today **puffs out chest with pride** that I have remembered to set my video today for 'Helen's Beauty Box'! She'd better be on now!

Fear not, dear Kaz, your hopes will not be dashed! 'Our Helen' plays a major part in the prog!

Not only does she do the beauty secrets of the stars, she models hats for David Shilling, a vision in pink!

The enormous feathery number she starts and finishes the show in make her look like a shorter, pink version of Big Bird!

(Note to Sticks. Maybe SHE knows where Bert is...)

At least they are making an effort to use her natural comedy talents. She is obviously enjoying herself enormously.

Fun at work,
and, like, cool stuff at home?
Or even
breath taking stuff, possibly?

Who says this girl did not win Big Brother!

Managed to see Lorraine today, Helen was her normal bubbly self, she manages to get herself in such a mess verbally, when she is describing something, she was talking about how good this special cream was , what it did and it where to put it, for nappy rash, lips and especialy if you are sore down below, as she said the words Lorraines face was a picture even Helen had to really struggle to keep a straight face. I dont think she has a script as she never seem to keep to it, she i s so funny without even knowing it. good on you girl.

If mark is willing I have a set of six images of Helen's star performance on today's Lorrain show.

1 & 2 is the feather hat
3 is another hat
4 is a veiled hat
5 is Helen's beauty bar
6 is Lorrains face after Helen mentioned that she would not mention soreness down below.

I can't wait to see these next pictures. In fact, I'm just going to sit here patiently until they come up!!

I agree that our Helen does seem radiantly happy these days and I'm now totally convinced that everything is perfect in "Helen's Little World".

You're so right, ROB - I wasn't disappointed!

Helen is an absolute natural, and so enthusiastic and bubbly about everything she speaks about. My highlights were:

At the beginning of the programme, when Keith Duffy asked her if the pot of cream was 'for yer bum, like last week's!'

During the 'Helen's Beauty Bar' slot when she said she'd been trying out the lipstick all week and it was good, but 'kissing, eating & drinking it came off'. I bet she had great fun testing out the first one of these ...... "Come on Paul, I've put some more on - let's see if it'll come off again!!!"

The excellent close-up we got of her 'friendship ring' when she drew out the winner of the competition.

.... and on Helen's recommendation I'll definitely be looking out for that 'body souffle' from Tesco - it sounded absolutely lush!

I heard at the end of the programme that Helen would be back on Monday talking about Easter eggs. She's certainly featuring a lot more now - fantastic.

I'd taped yesterday's Lorraine and I've only just watched it. Helen did make me laugh, especially when she said that this new cream was good 'if you were a little bit sore down below', Lorraine obviously couldn't believe her ears and Helen just laughed it off and said 'but we won't talk about that just now', another classic Helenism. It really made me laugh. I agree with everyone, I'm sure our showers of emails have done the girl's position the world of good. I've also followed ROB's lead and sent one suggesting Helen would be perfect to comment on BB for GMTV during the programme's run. I've also said that an interview with Lorraine where she talks about the changes BB made to her life would be useful before BB starts its run. Anyone else interested in doing the same?
