Default Some cough, cold and flu medicines are being taken off shelves

[Day and Night Nurse Capsules
and Boots Day Cold and
Flu Relief Oral Solution are among
the 20 medicines listed by the regulator
which are being withdrawn from the UK
following concerns over very rare cases
of allergic reaction.]

The most effective cough syrups contain GLYCERIN .. which soothes the cough better than any other ingredients

They are the cheap £2 supermarket own brands as well !!

Don’t pay £5/£6 for those name brands that rarely make a difference

my understanding is that it can cause problems if you are ever put under anaesthetic at a later date in hospital. I would suggest that is a pretty good reason to keep away from using it

Where did you get that understanding from though? And can I sue the the people that sold this?
