I've done so twice and I now say never again.
First time was on a booze run. We stayed overnight in Belgium and back the next day. I can't remember half of it I was so blitzed. Apparently I was banned from ever setting foot in the hotel again. Second time was when I turned 40 and my sister in law kept buying me doubles of peach schnapps which is a strong drink anyway. I was told I called the taxi driver a bastard and said all men were in fact. Regrets, I have a few.

I’ve only been tiddly once in my whole life .. at a party when someone introduced me to Southern Comfort .. I ended up cleaning some stranger’s kitchen well into the early hours .
I knew then that I couldn’t be trusted with alcohol !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Never the whole night but I've definitely had too many nights with fragmented memories - not recalling conversations at all, knowing we were in a venue but no idea where it was and how we got there from the previous bar etc.
It's all very pointless really |

It is. Going overboard with the drink and ending up so drunk you really don’t know what you’re doing just to fit a certain social status-quo just isn’t worth it, IMO.

No, I'm a good drunk who can handle my ale.
I did once fall asleep in the middle of a main road but I don't see that as blacking out, I see that as falling asleep. |
