Default Bank Holiday Weekend

Our first of three bank holiday weekends this month for us Brits what are you doing for it?

I'm currently having a nice pint at the airport awaiting a flight to the Isle of Man to visit my 96 year old grandmother. Not sure how relaxing that's gonna be.

I generally love traveling like this on my own but the airport is a predictable nightmare full of stag dos and hen dos. When will stupid fancy dress at stag dos go out of fashion

I'm going south of the equator. To an undisclosed location. I wont be on here much for the next couple of weeks sadly for all.

We are going to celebrate big time.
This morning I had my first negative Covid result in a fortnight.
Hubby cleared his yesterday.
Haven’t seen anybody for a fortnight, apart from through the window or the glass in the front door, thank heavens for the porch.
A big big thank you to my kids and all who rallied round to cheer us up and keep us going. Party time.

He was a great age..93 and up until his stroke before Christmas he was very active.
He had a great life…and died peacefully.

What more could you ask for…
