Leeds United are set to sack manager Javi Gracia and are in talks to appoint former England boss Sam Allardyce as his replacement.

Director of football Victor Orta is also set to leave the club.

Leeds are 17th in the Premier League, above the relegation zone only on goal difference, with four games left this season.

Gracia, appointed in February as Jesse Marsch's successor, has won only three of 11 league games in charge.

Leeds conceded 23 goals in April - a Premier League record for a single month and the most by any top-flight side since Birmingham also let in 23 in April 1965.

"Sam will get a £5m bonus from Leeds if he keeps them up or
A £10m bonus from Everton if he takes them down"

Soooo according to the grapevine… Big Sam will be appointed Leeds manager in the coming hours - for the last FOUR games ( ManCity , Newcastle, West Ham and Spurs ) .

Now apparently in his last 30 games in charge he’s only managed FOUR wins !

Gulp !!

Wonder what the odds are for him keeping them up ?

Seems to me that Sam taking over isn't as nailed on as the media have led us to believe. It should have been confirmed within a couple of hours and a day later there is no news

edit: Sam has arrived at the leeds training ground

All these sackings aren't really making much sense.

Well, they want to avoid relegation but still...

Yeah I agree it is just more unrest, given the run of games they have left it will be a miracle of Leeds stay up whoever is in charge

were leeds not in the same position with everton last season, managing to survive on the last day of the season? So both teams have had a year to learn from their mistakes and rectify the issues .... and they just haven't, they deserve to go down
