This isn't late at night, it's broad daylight in a public place. Maybe her parents should have educated her on the rights and wrongs.

Like I said she didn’t do it to cause offence

And put her top back on when asked

Same people will be kicking off about a mother breastfeeding in public.

With respect, Sheriff, you don't know why she did it.

I have no problem with people breastfeeding in public. Breasts are designed for it.

I don't think anyone should be getting their genitals out in public. I do however find it (logically) a bit odd that topless men are not considered indecent but topless women are, simply because... well, why, I guess? Because there's more tissue there? I mean that's not even always the case there are some fat chaps out there rocking some sizeable boobies. Why is that OK but not women's boobs? Doesn't really make sense.

TBF if it comes right down to it I'd prefer that NO ONE be wandering around town/public areas topless, but that in "expected places" it should be equal so if women want to be topless in places that men regularly go topless (beaches, pools, whatever) then that should be up to them.

Don't get me wrong: I love boobs as much as the next man, but they're not genitals and people in 2924 I think need to get out of the mindset that boobs for some reason should be considered that. It's not biologically accurate and doesn't make any sense. They're skin, fat, muscle and breast tissue just the same as men's boobs, just in different proportions.

Thing is … as we all know .. you give people some leeway and others will take advantage.

Also that description of skin , fat and tissue also describes our family jewels or meat and two veg ..

So where does it all end if we don’t have rules or regulations.

No we don’t but she put them away when asked

It’s a pair of tits not a sub machine gun

It means nothing because the amount of sexual content that can be seen online by kids makes the outrage over a small pair of tits that were out for a couple of minutes seem an over reaction.

If nothing had been done then possibly the other woman who was prancing around in her bra may have copied her …then others join in

What happens if a drunk and / or high bloke had suddenly thought it was a good idea to whip his trousers off ??

Again no problem with rules and regulations so long as they're the same for everyone - if women can't go topless, neither can men.

It’s not a Roman orgy

You got more chance of winning the lottery than a group of women suddenly getting their tits out in this country

Kids will see and get taught about far more sexual orientated things than a pair of breast, so much so that breast dont even register on the Richter scale anymore for sexual pleasure.

The people that you're talking about are going to do the Full Monty regardless of what this woman does with her body.

The Full Monty crew love to show their genitals off to people, that's not what this woman did, and neither did the men tbf.

Bit torn on this tbh, dont understand why the men could remain topless, the woman was not dancing in a sexually provocative way, just uninhibited, think both should have been asked to cover up or none...

I do understand what you are saying Zizu though

I'm talking about the men in the video.

My problem with your point is that it's the same kind of argument that people used to make about "Video Games turn people violent" when imo if people are going to show their genitals off in public, they'll do that regardless. Just like how a violent person will be violent regardless of if they play GTA or not.

In this study, we examined how playing a violent video game affected aggressive cognition and aggressive behavior. A total of 300 children (Mage = 6.38, SD = 0.25) were randomly recruited to play a violent or a nonviolent video game. Results revealed that briefly exposing children to a violent video game increased aggressive cognition and aggressive behavior. In addition, a significant game × sex interaction showed that this effect was larger for boys than for girls. Findings were interpreted within and supported the framework of the general aggression model. Violent video game effects remain a societal concern, and boys should be regarded as a special group for aggression intervention.

The flaw with these studies is always that they are exposing children to content that is age-rated, usually 15+ but sometimes 18+ (example GTA, Mortal Kombat etc.) so the study is skewed; the question isn't "do violent games make people more violent" it's "does exposure to violence as children make people more violent". The answer to the first question is no, violent games dont make adults more violent and they're not supposed to be for children. The answer to the latter is yes, exposure to violence in any form as a child can increase levels of aggression. Games no moreso than movies and television... and (by far) the thing most likely to increase levels of aggression is experiencing real-world aggression either from family or peers.

There are studies that say otherwise on Video Games too.

And let's face it GTA nor COD nor any other Video Game makes people turn into Ted Bundy or Jack The Ripper, you'd already have to have psychological issues beforehand to even consider committing such an offense.

And if we go down this road then nothing that's in a public space could ever go past Disney level.

Even Food joints would need to watch out because "you're fattening up children" would be the argument, along with making them "lazy slobs."

i watched loads of violent films, way before i was 18, it didn't make me violent, nor anyone else i know. Blaming something like video games is nothing more than a cop out from tackling the genuine causes of violence in society

They do make kids more violent though, a simple toss of the controller in anger because you got beat or shot is something the child would not have done had they not been playing the game.
