Default Are you voting? Poll.

Are you voting? A straightforward yes no or undecided poll incoming.

We are not because...

We'd never vote Tory, and

We can't stand Keir Starmer, and

Nobody else stands a chance.

My local Green candidate is actually okay, might vote for her. More likely to just scribble all over my ballot though.

Yes, always use my vote.
I'll be voting Labour in all elections as usual.

If you don't vote then you can't complain that is my view anyway, even if you are voting for someone who does not have a cat chance in hell in winning or if you spoil your vote in protest you should be voting...

Even if you write a horrific expletive all over the ballot or draw a hideous penis or tick all the boxes .... please vote.

Thought a snap general election had been called reading this

The only vote in my area is for the Police and Crime Commissioner and I think that's a waste of time but I will vote anyway probably

I'm not voting for Starmer, I can't, I'm NOT in his constituency.
Neither could I be voting for Sunak if I was ever to vote Conservative.
I'm not in his constituency either.

In the Council election I'll be voting for a candidate I believe will do their best for the local area.

In a general election Ill be voting for a Party in government.
Labour is the Party I want in government so despite Starmer my vote will go to Labour.
As we have Party government in the UK not a Presidency.

Just as many conservative voters who don't particularly like Sunak will also vote for THE Conservative Party.

However with Independents, Reform, Green, LibDems and other lesser Party candidates standing if I couldn't support one of the bigger 2 Parties, then I'd easily find another candidate from that list to vote for.

Tbh no.

I couldn't bring myself to vote for Starmer, and obviously I wouldn't vote for Sunak under most scenarios.

Personally I disagree with that logic.

If you didn't vote in the mess that's the current Tory Government for example, then you have more of a right to complain about them, than someone that did vote for them and gets shocked when the party doesn't do what they wanted them to do, even though it was quite obvious that the party were just lying to get elected.

And I know that Labour lies as well (I'm not that naive or stupid.)

I'd say spoiling the paper is making more use of democracy, as even spoiled ballots get counted.

An official "none of the above" says more than a no-show.

If you dont vote them in...you can complain

If you vote them in and they dont do what you want them to do ...you can complain

If you dont vote you have no voice

At the very least spoil you vote as a protest

If someone told you you cant vote...would you want to?

.
I will be voting.
Mayor is easy, he has done great things since he was elected. Therefore he has our vote.
I need to find out a bit more about the Police and Crime commissioner candidates.

Do you see the point of Police and Crime Commissioners smudgie.
I personally didn't see the point of them although I do vote for to elect one.

I just believe in using my vote
Near all decisions MPs make or Councils make.
Affect our lives, our family's lives and those of friends and neighbours.
As well as the citizens of the whole area and Country
As to freedoms, finances and whole livelihoods.
I like to have a day in that via my vote.
