If you want to attend the convention then give me a U2U and tell me a location that you think would be good for the convention. Plus any ideas that you may have. I was thinking that we could make a day of it, because some of you may be travelling long distances.

I've had another think and I thought that maybe Birmingham or London may be a good location, mainly because there are brilliant rail links into those two cities. I also believe that alot of members on here that are 19 or under live in the South of England. London would also be a great place because there is plenty to do and lots of attractions to visit. Maybe even a trip on the London eye and visiting many of the shops and other attractions.

London? Would cost me nearly £100 to get down to there return, haha.

That's a rip off!! It would only cost me about £20.00 return from Birmingham with Chiltern Railways.

If the convention was in Birmingham then there's quite alot to do there aswell. There's the Bull Ring and I should imagine there's lots of other attractions aswell.

I've been using my own special brand of face cream, so I no longer look 55.

BANG! - And the wrinkles are gone!

If it was held in London or somewhere in the South then I'd come cos Southampton isn't too far from London but I dunno if my uni finances can afford anything above a £50 journey, am on a tight budget!

I'd love to come. I'm 17, but will be 18 in the summer.
Birmingham would be easier for me, would cost me £100 return to get to London on the train and not sure about petrol either.
Birmingham is much more convienient for me, but I know it wouldn't be so for other people

After looking at people's opinions I think that the convention will be held in Birmingham. If anyone has any ideas of what we can do there then let me know, any opinions/ideas welcome. The reason for this is because Birmingham is central to everyone I think and there's good rain connections to Birmingham.

I’m sure people who are perhaps saying they can’t go right now may well find they can do! I’d love to come personally – meeting up with fellow forum members sounds fun. And Birmingham’s quite convenient for me as well. I’m sure as soon as there are more details we’ll hear of them...

The Bullring is fantastic, very much a public place obvoiusly if anybody is worried about anything like that.
Plenty of shops, great food places and there is a nice open are between the two parts of the centre which would be convienient.
Loads of car parking spaces and the train drops you virtually next to the shopping centre.

Yeh, Snow Hill Train Station is a stones throw away, literally. I was thinking that the meeting point, where we could all meet on the day could be The Bullring. I live about 45 minutes away from Birmingham (train journey away)
There's also Digbeth Coach Station for anyone who wants to come on National Express coaches. If your coming from abroad then there's always Birmingham International Airport (BHX).

Convention Update
Just a little update on the progress of the Convention organsing.

1. The location of the convention will be in Birmingham. The main reasons for this is the good rail and transport connections and Birmingham being fairly central to everyone.

2. The convention will be held on 12th July 2008. The meeting place will be at Snow Hill Train Station or Moor Street Train Station, Birmingham. Time to be confirmed. We will probably go to the Bullring and do a few other 'teenagery' things.

We have some brand new merchendise for you to use:
