Default Would you forgive Marc?

Would you forgive Marc if you were in his girlfriend's shoes?

I don't think i would. If he is like that on National TV, imagine what he would be like behind closed doors

Yes. I would. He's not exactly playing away from home.

Him and Cerys hardly kissed, let alone had sex And besides, it was in the jungle...it must be quite boring and quiet there, so companionship is probably vital.

This woman sounds vile anyway.

From a sexual point of view, people have been forgiven for a lot worse since he barely did anything...
Partners cheat, kiss another person or have sex with another person, yet still they're forgiven.

But then again, just because it happens a lot, does that make it right? or are all those people doormats for forgiving them? and just latching on because they don't want to be alone?

From a "what he did" point of view, all the hugging/closeness aside, he clearly insinuated that something was going on when he said "there's a lot to be said, isn't there?" to Cerys.

Everyone in the camp saw them as a couple who were meant to be, not just as good friends.

So he did just about everything humanly possible to suggest he really liked her and wanted to be with her, apart from indulging in sexual activities/asking her out [which he may have done off camera, with the way things were going I think it's almost certain they would have kissed or more behind closed doors.]

I think you'd either have had to have had no girlfriend/boyfriend in your entire life, or be completely uncaring about commitment, to say he should be forgiven.

The reason I say that is because if you've had a partner/have a partner, and can honestly say you wouldn't mind them constantly cuddling upto someone, flirting with them, implying they want to be with them, whilst everyone else on the television thinks they're meant to be and the entire nation is discussing how adorable they are together...then id honestly say there's something wrong with you.

It should be human instinct to be hurt deeply when someone you love is showing the biggest form of public affection towards another person...in a more than friends way.

Not to mention he knows he did wrong, as he knew instantly that he might not have a girlfriend anymore as he said it to someone in camp...and he said the same thing to Ant and Dec, regarding him being in a lot of trouble.

So if he can see he's majorly in the wrong, I don't see how anyone here can argue that he didn't do anything =] that's illogical to say the least.

If he admits to himself he's messed up badly, then it shows whatever intentions/feelings are inside of him were going against his girlfriend, hence why he admitted it.

In short, no he shouldn't be forgiven for the reasons his girlfriend remarked upon.

Eg. He's living with her, been with her for two years and yet he's acting that way with someone else he's barely known a week or so.

My mind would be too focused on "if they can do that on television, what would they do behind closed doors?" to ever even contemplate staying in the relationship.

P.S Apologies for the essay, im at work a lot lately so barely get the chance to type...so im making the most of it >_< lol.

^^To me he didn't realise how his actions had been seen until he saw his best bits. At one point he actually Dec what was going on. He felt he did nothing wrong, we don't know what kind of relationship he and his girlfirend have thus I see no need for her histrionics and jokey threats.

Well like I said, he already mentioned "If I have a missus" or something along those lines, to John I think it was? whilst in the camp.

Though it's not really up for debate anymore since he's just announced he's in love with Cerys and betrayed his girlfriend mentally. Which is pretty much what I explained.

I know I couldn't forgive my girlfriend of two years for FALLING IN LOVE with someone else in a matter of two weeks. Cheating is bad enough, but at least it's often meaningless and more about sex/attention. Your partner loving someone else is in a completely different league of hurt.
