Leon denies Hope romance

X Factor hopeful Leon Jackson has revealed there is nothing going on between him and Hope singer Emily Biggs.

The 18-year-old Scottish shop assistant was rumoured to have dated the blonde student during the two months they shared a house.


But he was adamant they were 'just good friends', saying: "It's just annoying to keep reading the same stuff, especially when it says stuff like we'd locked ourselves in the bathroom together. My mum's got to read stuff like that."

Leon added: "It got exaggerated. I've got a lot of time for her as a friend because we were living together. We've got similar interests, but we're just friends and there's no romance behind it.

"She's busy with interviews and stuff and I'm concentrating on the shows, but I'll see her on the tour, I've got her number, so I can obviously text her and stuff."

The jazz singer, who has been compared to Michael Buble, admitted he's blown away by the response from fans, but said he'll stay grounded.

"When we're leaving the show on a Saturday night, people are standing at the side and giving you gifts and letters that they've wrote to you.

"I always take time to read all my comments on fan sites and stuff. To think people are fans of you it's just out of this world."
