the official ratings including timeshift have came out for BBCH launch so overall from E4 and C4 4.2 million

I think everyone expected the ratings to be bad anyway. Tackling a new format is always a difficult situation, and some Big Brother fans won't have watched it just in case the show ruined the whole Big Brother excitement for them. I just hope that if Celebrity Big Brother returns, the ratings are higher for that.
