Imagine how amazing it would be to see your idea brought to life on screen in an episode of Primeval. That’s the incredible, money-can’t-buy prize we’re offering the lucky winner of our Primeval design competition.

All you need to do to take part is create a creature that you think could belong in Primeval. Let your imagination run riot then send us your designs. The winning creature will be developed by Framestore’s creative team and a CGI interpretation will feature in series three.

And that’s not all. We have fantastic runners up prizes too. Five runners up will win a DVD box set of the first two series as well as official Primeval merchandise.

Creature design tips

Think about how real creatures work in nature when you’re trying to come up with an idea. Then use that as your inspiration and the basis for your design.

We want you to be creative so see how far your imagination can go. We’d like to see more exciting creatures like the Future Predator. A fancy looking T Rex just won’t do it.

Oh, and one final thing; you stand more of a chance if you avoid feathers, fur or robotic elements and if you create a predatory creature.

Once you’re happy with your design, please give us a description of your creature, in no more than 100 words.

If you do turn out to be the lucky winner, please understand that Impossible Pictures and Framestore will have the final say on the creature’s construction and how much and when it appears in the episode. They may also make minor changes to the final design to help the creature work on screen.
