Katherine Jenkins would apparently like to duet with Amy Winehouse.



It seems the Welsh opera star is a huge fan of the Rehab singer and is not put off by her wild ways.



Katherine told itv.com/music: "I'm a huge fan of Amy's and I really think she's got an amazingly huge talent, not only vocally but also in her song writing skills. I always think collaborations work best when it's something unexpected.



"I think in the classical music world there is always going to be purists that don't want any commercial side to our type of music; but you can't please everyone all the time."



The 27-year-old mezzo-soprano also reportedly revealed that during her Viva La Diva sell-out tour with ballet dancer Darcy Bussell, she discovered she has a Hollywood A-list fan.



She apparently said: "We did get a call in the morning asking if there were any chances of a ticket as one person wanted to come and he'd be happy to pay and I said we'd try but they said 'You might want to find a ticket as it is for Mel Gibson'!



"He sat next to my mum."
