I'm gonna replace "15 Songs For You" on the banner with her fourth album, I just couldn't find any other CD to put there lol.

&Princess, I recommend Mercy On Me, The Right Man, I Got Trouble, Save Me From Myself, Understand, Still Dirrty and Nasty Naughty Boy. =] lol.

SonyBMG have scheduled a new single from Christina Aguilera for September to be released worldwide, at the same time everywhere. Latest reports claim the album is indeed Greatest hits release featuring new songs "Keep Getting Better," rumoured first single produced by Linda Perry, and another new track called "Dynamite," and more. There will also be a DVD with a compilation of the music videos which she has had along her career.
If that wasn't enough, She will be releasing her next album after GH release and is planning a secret performance somewhere soon.

I doubt she would do a GH album right now. That would be the total opposite to "futuristic".

EDIT: I get it! She's releasing a new album and a GH! YAY!

Ooh, Aussie singer, Sia, says she's writing with her!

Quote:
Like Tim Armstrong and Pink, Gwen Stefani and the Neptunes, and many other seemingly mismatched musical pairings, Sia and Christina Aguilera will join forces, with Sia lending her songwriting skills -- and buckets of much-needed depth, humanity, and indie cred -- to the soulful pop diva's forthcoming record.

"I'm going to write with Christina Aguilera in mid-September for her next album," Sia told SPIN.com in a video interview (which you can see here in the coming days) at Philadelphia's Download 2008 this past weekend. "It might not work, she might not like any of the stuff I write, and it may not make the cut, but I'm pretty excited about it -- I think she's rad!"

Sia, who is also slowly constructing the follow up to her 2008 album Some People Have Real Problems, says she and Aguilera have yet to meet, but have talked about the collaboration over the phone, and that, "She was like, 'I'm into you and I'm interested to step into your world,' and I was like 'Cool!'" Indeed!

Sia and Aguilera's reps did not return requests for comment by press time.

Christina Aguilera is back at work on a new album, but 7-month-old son Max Liron is never far from her mind.

"[He is] amazing, incredible," the singer, 27, tells Entertainment Tonight. "He just lights up my whole world every day with his laughs and his smiles."

She reveals that Max has started crawling and is cutting his first teeth.

"He's a mover and shaker. He's just a smiley, happy guy. I really lucked out," Aguilera tells USA Today, adding that on Labor Day, she and husband Jordan Bratman, 31, took Max to the superhero exhibit at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art for "his first museum experience."

Aguilera is looking forward to having more children – someday. "I definitely want to expand our family eventually, but for now, Mommy's going to work," she tells ET.

Aguilera, who just launched her first fragrance, Inspire, is prepping for her next album, due in 2009. It's full of "space sounds and futuristic things," she tells USA Today. "For this one, we're going into the future."

OMG OMG OMG OMG
Quote:
So as with SonyBMG, everything is all over the place - but finally we have final confirmation on the new single.

It will be released in Australia at a “TBA” time for radio ONLY on Tuesday September 9th 2008 - obviously to now factor in her performance of the single at the MTV VMA’s in the US (Australia is almost 24 hours ahead).

It has also now been listed on the SonyBMG Australia release schedule as “Single 1″ - which is NOT the name of the single, as this information is being held very secret to Christina’s camp, possibly to stop a leak from occurring before this time. The single will NOT be available for digital download on this date, and currently has a “TBA” for this. Chances are, and in line with other SonyBMG big releases such as Pink’s So What, the single will be for download on iTunes within 3 or 4 days from radio play - meaning the Saturday following, so that all downloads can be included in the ARIA chart.

This is all the information that is available at this time - but even if it leaks, all media in Australia is a no go. Below is a copy of part of the international embargo that SonyBMG is now getting media outlets to sign.

An international embargo from RCA/SonyBMG “prohibits the unauthorized broadcast of the new Christina Aguilera single until SonyBMG agrees that it can be broadcast. Any breach of this condition will incur penalties set by SonyBMG”.
Source

SO excited.
I LOVE how none of her work gets leaked; unlike most other artists.
I can't wait for this.
Xtina's back bitches<3!

Sounds great, I hope it's something upbeat like Ain't No Other Man but I wouldn't mind a ballad either.

Target and Target.com will be the sole retailers to carry Christina Aguilera's first greatest hits collection, "Keeps Gettin' Better -- A Decade of Hits," due Nov. 11 via RCA.

The set will include a pair of new songs, "Dynamite" and the title track, plus re-recorded versions of her prior hits "Genie in a Bottle" and "Beautiful."

Fans will receive a free download of "Keeps Gettin' Better" when they pre-order the CD beginning Sept. 30 via target.com/music. The track goes to top 40 radio on Sept. 22.

The collection will contain all four of the pop star's No. 1 hits: "Genie," "Come on Over (All I Want Is You)," "What a Girl Wants" and "Lady Marmalade," her collaboration with Lil' Kim, Mya and Pink on a remake of the Labelle classic.

Aguilera joins Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, the Jonas Brothers and John Legend as artists who've released music exclusively through Target in recent years.

The artist is at work on the follow-up to her 2006 album "Back to Basics," but no release date has yet been announced.

Love the newer version of Genie In A Bottle. Great performance, shame she was miming though and she looks too much like Lady GaGa.

I know, she's such a hypocrite. Said Britney was dumb for miming yet she does it herself. I hope she realises with with a fast song and dance moves its better to mime.

When did I "angrily scream"? And I wasn't bashing Christina. I don't care if she mimes. Just bothered me that she used to attack Britney for it, then she goes and does it.

Did I make it? No. And in my opinion its true. Her style wasn't original. That **** had Lady Gaga written all over it.

**** as in a figure of speech. The performance wasn't ****, it was good. Her dancing was great.

Yeah because her performance actually involed doing something , not falling about the stage in underwear.

Her performance was great, best of the night, IMO. Love the new version of GIAB too!

I don't see the Lady Gaga comparison.
Who is Lady Gaga?
Barely anyone knows who she is.
I doubt Xtina does.

JUST because someone does something similar doesn't mean it's copying

In fact, it was inspired by superheroes and villains

Proof.
