Nominations: Method behind the madness?
From the official site:
Quote:
We've taken a look at who's nominated who to try and discover how housemates are viewing each other and the nomination process.
The two middle-grounders, Dan and Shell, for example, have nominated eight different people, compared to four by Jason, the most focused nominator in the House.
Here's how the nominations break down...
Dan
Dan has become increasingly irritated with Victor and has nominated him on the last two occasions. Their relationship has steadily deteriorated and doesn't look like being repaired.
Otherwise he has spread his nominations around, choosing Nadia, Marco, Michelle, Jason and even his closest friend, Shell, once. None of his relationships in the House is particularly strong and perhaps this is reflected by his scattergun approach to nominations.
Jason
Jason has formed a voting block with Victor but it's only on the last two occasions they've actually voted the same way. The pair have their sights set on Dan and Nadia now, after previously focusing on Marco and Nadia.
Jason has nominated Nadia and Marco three times and nominated Dan for the first time this week, despite warning Dan not to nominate him. All of his and Victor's votes have been for women or gay men.
Michelle
Michelle has nominated Jason for eviction on four occasions, more than the three times she nominated Ahmed. She cited Jason's behaviour as Sergeant for her nominating him this week
Only one of Michelle's votes has been for a woman, Becki. But now Dan has annoyed her and might regret making enemies outside of the Jungle Cats.
Vic - telling it like it is. Or at least how he thinks it is...
Nadia
Nadia has nominated Jason and Victor on each of the last three opportunities. Her relationship with Jason is fractious and with Victor it's not much better. Nadia definitely votes with her heart.
Early on she nominated Dan twice, but has since decided to focus on the two housemates who see her as a threat to their chances of winning.
Shell
Despite being nice to everyone, Shell has scattered her nominations throughout the House. Jason and Ahmed are the only ones she has nominated twice. The other six people she's nominated may reflect her changing state of mind and lack of confidence in her own judgement. Stuart is the only housemate still in the House that she hasn't nominated.
Stuart
Stuart virtually chooses two different people to nominate each week. It's as if whatever happened just prior to nomination bears no relation to how he felt on previous weeks.
He has nominated Nadia twice, citing her dark moods when deprived of tobacco. But he has a notoriously hard time saying why he chose his nominations, also reflecting his laid-back attitude and lack of conviction or spite.
Victor
Although Victor's respect for Nadia has grown, he sees her as a threat and is determined to get her out. Despite his professed dislike for 'fence-sitters', Nadia is the only housemate he has nominated three times.
It now seems like Victor has turned against Dan, finding his "kissing ass" hard to stomach, though he's not beyond making friends and influencing people himself.
