Jungle Cats R.I.P. - Sandra Scott
With Victor gone, Jason is now the only Jungle Cat left in a dominantly feminine house.
There are now five harem members and one Jungle Cat. This has occurred as the harem are adaptable and Daniel and Shell have joined. The Jungle Cats were strictly men only. And Stuart has defected to the other side.
Jason formed the Jungle Cats early on to help him and Victor feel more secure. This is an example of a psychological process known as Identity Diffusion.
As Jason actually created the Jungle Cats, it was he who required the security the role offered much more than Victor. He has been so trapped in this role that we have never really got to know the real him.
But Jungle Cats cannot exist alone. As their numbers dwindled after Ahmed's eviction, they desperately tried to confirm Stuart's membership, but failed.
Victor became increasingly obsessed that another Jungle Cat might go and a fence sitter might stay. As a result, he let his control slip and vented his frustrations. This outburst was catastrophic and led to his downfall.
As a result Jason has received a temporary reprieve because of Victor's mistake. Ultimately his real saving grace might be that there are no more nominations - it's the public who now decide. Now he must focus on letting us know the real him. If he persists as a Jungle Cat, Jason will find that he's soon following in his comrade's footsteps.
