Press "Print Screen" when you're on your desktop. Then go into paint, and paste. Save the pic, host it on photobucket or something.

1, take a screen shot by presing shift and Print Screen which copies a image of the screen in the clipboard/

2. open paint and paste the image into paint

3. Save it as a jpg (using the save as option)

4. upload it here> http://www.imageshack.us/

5. copy and paste the second link down into the reply box

It is one I have never seen, thanks for telling me about it. I will look it up and next time I get a linux box up and running give it a go. It looks great. I like clean desktops.

i think its the second most popular distro according to distrowatch, its also available on a live cd so you can try it out without even installing it. well worth downloadiing even if its just to recover data of dodgy hd's in future.
you can download the cd here....
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCD
.....and get a look at the great community of support here...

I bought a freeview tv card from Aldi's for 20 pounds which fits in a pci slot in my pc. it gets all the free tv and radio channels, and it also can be viewed in fullscreen mode so its like a normal tv.
