It's a bit hit and miss really, some parts are a solid 8/10 but other parts sink it to a 5/10. Worth a watch though if you are a bit of a horror fanatic like I am.

The Sweeney. Far-fetched testosterone-fuelled effing and blinding, fist fights, firefights, head butts, "you're nicked, you slaaag", car chases, shooters, Ray Winstone and Ben Drew. What's not to adore? 8/10

Loved Ray Winstone's nod to "Scum" with the batteries and the sock.

A Few Good Men - really good, never been too big a fan of courtroom dramas but was surprised how gripping this was, I was a bit unsure about the ending at first but thinking about what came before and the nature of the character what happened did make sense - 8.5/10

It didn't have the quotes that In Bruges has spawned (although, maybe upon repeat viewing...), but it was otherwise every bit as good. Loved it. 9/10.

The Fighter - Pretty good really 7/10.

The doc that is being filmed in the film is called 'High On Crack Street: Lost Lives In Lowell'. Dickie and him mum feature a lot in it. It's all quite depressing though and definitely doesn't have the fairytale ending the film does...

Have you seen The Machinist? He got even thinner for that, had to go on a diet of just eating one apple per day. That was right after American Psycho aswell, which was probably the best shape he has ever been in
