The only haggis (proper) they had at the Co-Op was the large family size, so I had to make do with tinned haggis
I had a haggis pudding supper last night though |

Which is partly why the cast has been remembered so badly!! With no books or no lasting tasks, wouldn't you go mental!!! |

Although the rich/poor divide was a novel idea, it was primarily designed to bring a split in the household, and the 'working together' in tasks are what make so many of the others much more memorable. When it came to tasks, the ones that were tackled on BB2 were so enjoyable because they were such a closely knit bunch of people, although having said that there were 'fireworks' too, which made it into such a special, all-round, series. Added to that it had the focal points of Brian's humour the romance of Helen and Paul. That is why so many people on here do love it so much. On the point of getting along, the same can be said of BB4, although having said that, in many peoples eyes they got on a bit too well, and it lacked the 'fireworks' seen in BB2. As I said in my original post, I really enjoyed tasks that lasted for a number of days, and that brought the housemates together in a common cause. If I was looking at each series for entertainment value or for the quality of housemates, I would possibly have a different view. |

I loved the tasks in BB2, the fire one, got you to know ALL the housemates!!
The dancing one was sheer genius!! I reckon though the BB1 one, were they all had to impersonate each other for a night, was SO funny, and should be repeated in all of them, come the end of the run!! I think "I'm a celebrity......" stole the idea in one of the series Oh and hi |

Sorry about taking so long to reply BDGA. It's taken me ages to think about some of it and without going and watching the highlights tapes for each series, I'll be hard pushed to state which ones were the best. Out of the ones discussed already though, the clay heads was an interesting one and I certainly thought that the one where they had to impersonate one another was hilarious. The dance task was good too - isn't that when Bubble came a cropper over the end of the seat?
From BB4, I have to say I think the pedalo task was a good idea for getting the housemates to bond, or at least get to know each other. It maybe wasn't the most interesting to watch or take part in but it was a good in other respects. Other that are memorable for whatever reason are the boot-camp task in BB5 and the pheasant plucking! |

1. HI!! Sorry it took me so long to see this and answer! 2. They did impersonate each other for the soap opera on BB2. I think Brian's impersonation of Penny was uncannily spot on, and Helen's impersonation of Dean was priceless! |

Didnt they have to impersonate each other in BB3 when they made the puppets?
When you think about it, this seems to be a recurring task in BB, albeit in various versions. And ROB I loved Josh's impersonation of Brian in the soap opera task. As has been said before I think the reason it is difficult to remember too many of the tasks in BB3 is that they didnt really have any long lasting ones - bit difficult with the divide going up so there was nothing for them to get their teeth in. The longer tasks definitely give the housemates a chance to bond together and work well, especially if it means they eat well or not. |

You bet I will be - can't wait to see what changes they've made this year. I'm away to London tomorrow to do some filming for the lead up to BB6.

Here's a couple of questions for Cameron from me:
Have you heard anything about the 'Big Brother's Top 20 Housemates' programme to be shown on E4? Did you read the book Dean from BB2 wrote and what did you think of it? |

Yes James, I was away to London a couple of weeks ago for the filming for BB Top 20 and it was a great laugh - really good crew and nice location.
I have read Dean's book - I think he's maybe going to re-do it with additional info. I found it fascinating and there were a lot of similarities between Dean's experiences and ours I would say. Not sure about my life plans at the moment - a day off sometime soon would be nice though; would give me a chance to plan anyway! |

Cameron, I want to ask you something, and I know it's going to sound stupid, but, why did you stick an apple on your head in the BB house?
I'm just a bit curious to know why. |
