Default I\'m confused about the guinea pig thing

I always thought the new contestants meet for the first time on the opening night. But I've read a few comments on here about them testing the housemates first without the cameras... How does that work? Then isn't it obvious that they all know each other on opening night...?

If the question's already been asked a million times, my bad.

The guinea pigs aren't the real housemates, they're just people who test the house, the tasks and the twists in order to see if everything goes well.

Certain Guinea Pigs have been brought up to be housemates in feature series. I remember reading that Imogen from BB7 was a test housemate for BB4.

Its just kind of like a mini-series with a different set of housemates that isn't televised

just to make sure the house works properly and test camera shots etc

Basically it is just a bunch of random people that test the house, twists, tasks and basically the whole format, to make sure it all runs smoothly and gives Big brother the chance to make things a little better

How they ever looked at her and thought ''Hmm, we will set her aside because she could be an entertaining housemate'' is completely beyond me.

from what i remember for bb7 and davinas house tour , she pointed at a bed and said this is where chris moyles slept last night along with his radio team , so i think chris moyles was a guinea pig

I think the guinea pig thing is around now, because if there's any problems they need enough time to fix them

If you are referring to Susie.. they didn't pick her to be in BB7. She was the golden ticket winner.
