CHANNEL 4 chiefs were in panic last night after a fan threatened to kill boss Andy Duncan's daughter if they did not reinstate the Big Brother live feed.

Police have launched a probe into the sick email as the chief executive has two young girls.

The anonymous nut wrote: "Bring back the live feed or I'll kill your daughter." Channel insiders said they hoped the writer was "lashing out" and did not actually know Mr Duncan's family set-up. One said: "Everyone is very spooked by the email.

"It was a horrible thing to send. We're hoping the reference to killing a 'daughter' was just added for dramatic effect. Andy Duncan does have daughters so it's horrendous to think whoever sent it might know this."

The email was also sent to two other senior staff members and the generic Big Brother email address.

The source said: "We hope it means they were just lashing out to whichever addresses they could get hold of."

C4 has had a string of "vicious" emails after cutting the 24-hour live feed due to a cash crisis.

Now it only runs between the hours of 11pm and 5am. A spokeperson for the channel confirmed: "Members of staff received a written threat from a member of the public.

"We have taken this threat seriously and the matter has been referred to the police."

Big Brother 10 will see its first official eviction tonight. Toff Freddie Fisher, 23, will go head-to-head with tiny Sophia Brown, 26, at 9pm.

BIG Brother's Little Brother host George Lamb let slip that Boyz II Men will appear on this year's Celebrity BB when he interviewed them on the show.

Oh dear. There are bigger problems in the world than the bloody live feed. Obviously if I had to make the descision I'd have it on day and night but 'killing someones daughter' is taking it to the extreme. As I said, there's bigger problems in the world at the moment, a lot of people are out of work and we're smack bang in the middle of a global credit crunch.

My brother n his mate had a couple of death threats last week, they are bouncers, chucked some guys up then they phoned up the club the next day to come shoot or stab them, they did actuallly stab one guy in the leg thats why they were thrown out.

They had to wear body plate thing, but nobody turned up.
