Yes and David Arquette and Courtney Cox are both confirmed for the film while Neve Campbell said she was in nagotiation with the producers so we don't know if she's doing it. I'm very excited to !

I'm not too optimistic for it, chances are it'll be a quickly produced cash cow to earn some quick money for it's stars and studio. It could be good but I'd bet my bottom dollar on it being crap. Scream 3 started to turn sour but it wrapped up the storyline, they should leave it alone.

Jamie Kennedy, the guy who is obssesed with horror movies.
Is returning, but I thought he died :S

But I read alot that hes coming back.

They said the killer in this one is the most shocking yet...

I hope Neve does return, She could be the killer

The writer said he's not returning, so far only Courtney and David Arquette are.

they've said that if Neve does not return they will probably kill off her character. This is also the start of a new trilogy.

I'm glad they are going ahead and doing another.
From what Ive read, its going to be the start of a new trilogy, and all three have been penned by the same bloke who wrote the first one.
It would be nice to see Neve back for this one, even if its just a small appearance.

Doesn't look like Neve will be back for this - oh well. It's the start of a new chapter anyway so I wouldn't miss her that much. I'm just psyched that this is going ahead.

ill definitely want to see it but i know itll most likely be a poor sequel...

to the person who said jamie kennedys character is said to be coming back...the only way they could do that is if scream turns into a supernatural horror!

Jamie Kennedy, Who apparently hasn't been kidnapped and sold as a sex slave like we all have hoped, gave some info to ifmagazine.com about a 4th scream movie:

"I actually had a conversation with somebody very big in the organization, and there’s a way," he tells iF. "I don’t know what’s going to happen, but they have plans for a lot of things. You can see new faces that you wouldn’t expect and you can see old faces that you wouldn’t believe. There’s a way to bring a lot of things around."

I'm hoping this isn't true. The Scream franchise ran out of steam after, well, after the first one. But if Wes can write a good enough story then anything is possible. And who doesn't want to see Jamie Kennedy on the big screen again after his string of blockbuster hits?

The problem with him coming back is that he's quite obviously grown older since the original Scream trilogy. It'll be odd to see Randy come back in a video or flashback looking older then he did when his character died. Plus he's probably busy enough with filming for Ghost Whisperer.

i honestly couldnt give a **** about Neve or Jaime, Randy is irrelevant and Sydney is just irritating.

Gale and Dewey were always my faves anyway, it wouldn't be the same without them.

I think they should do what they did with A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Make a "New Nightmare" thing, were the cast from the originals who died and didnt die are in it playing themselves, 8 years after Scream finished.

And then the killings start in real life...

Its really good if you ever seen A Nightmare on Elm St New Nightmare.

And would work really well with Scream

I still havent watched the boxset i had for xmas with the first three... i have seen them before, but that was like 5 years ago, cant remeber what happened in them lol!

I hope Jamie Kennedy doesn't come back for it, it would be horrible, I wasn't a fan of Randy anyways, and Jamie has ruined Ghost Whisperer so far

I would love to see this, and I pray its good. Scream 3 was good but disappointing, they can't end Scream with a sour note, and I hope this one will give it the ending it deserves.
