X Factor duo John & Edward have vowed not to disappear from the spotlight this year.

The Irish brothers, who are rumoured to have landed a record contract and ITV2 documentary deal, promised fans that they will have longevity in the industry.

John told the Daily Star: "We are going to surprise people in 2010 and we aren't going to disappear anywhere. We are not going to be a flash-in-the-pan act. Top of the pops, that's where we'd like to be."

On their current projects, which reportedly include £40,000 gigs, he added: "It has been constant work, work, work. We're so lucky to have it at the moment."

The boys' manager Louis Walsh recently announced that he is making plans for "Jedward mania".

they have lots of fans, Just like the other contestants, big fanbase
no matter if they WERE in the bottom 2, they NEVER, not once came bottom votes. And who knows what would have happened of Dannii had made it dead lock ?
Jedward would have come at least 5th..... so....
