this is iamamiwhoami.
it has been storming the web for the past few months.
it began with one video, and since then another five have been added.
most people think it's to promote the music of an artist.. but who?

I really admire the campaign.
I think it's extremely creative, I love the six main videos and am so interested in finding out who it is.
Most people assume it's a blond female, producing electropop style music. There's been loads of work made that you can find over the internet of people working out what the numbers/symbolism means within the vids, but still no answer.

Here are the main suggestions:
- Christina Aguilera.
- Fever Ray.
- Lykke Li.
- Kerli.
- Little Boots.
- Goldfrapp.
- Röyksopp.
- Ladytron.
- The Knife.
- The Golden Filter.
- Bjork.
- MGMT.
- Lady GaGa.
- Gwen Stefani.

I think it's definitely NOT GaGa or Gwen.
Most evidence points to Christina (the CH.AG code, the themes of birth/nature, her album being called Bionic etc.
this quote from DS also points to her:
"These videos are based on the mythological Huldra from folklore. She is an ugly creature covered in bark and mud/soot, that hangs from trees and lures men and has her way with them (which would explain all the sexual stuff going on in the videos). She looks like a beautiful, blond, blue-eyed beauty but when the female Huldra is discovered, the glamour masking her true ugly self vanishes. Glamour. Glam. Glam is only a mask. Christina's first single is "Glam"."
As much as I'd LOVE it to be Christina.. something about it seems a little off.

However, Christina, along with Little Boots & Lykke Li have denied it's them.

The music involved sounds a lot like Goldfrapp/Ladytron, whom she's been working with. Then again, I think it could possibly be The Knife/Fever Ray what with the scandinavian theme.

Of course it may not be anyone music-related and could be an advert/promo for something else, but a lot of links seem to think it's music.

I currently think it's either Kerli or a brand new artist, but I'm always changing my mind.
Either way, I'll definitely check out whoever it is. I love the videos, the music within them and the campaign.

it definitely isn't Gwen, she's doing no doubt at the minute
it definitely isn't Goldfrapp it completely goes against there direction
same goes for GaGa
same goes for Bjork and Kerli.

the most likely suspect is definitely Lykke Li but I'm not ruling out Christina because there is a LOT of evidence point to her, some of it is coincidental but other bits are very interesting:

I think it's way too easy to rule her out because of her clean cut past.

but if I had to place money, I'd guess Lykke Li, she has a new album out this year and the teeth resemblance is very telling.

The teeth mean nothing IMO, they've also been matched to Little Boots.
Both LB + Lykke Li have denied it.
Obviously don't mean anything, but I'm sure they'd rather say nothing than deny it and look stupid.

Another week, another video from the most interesting viral marketing campaign since forever. "23.5.12.3.15.13.5-8.15.13.5.3383" is the latest clip from the mysterious iamamiwhoami, and so far its the clearest we've been able to hear her voice. From the evidence here, it doesn't sound like the oft-rumored Christina Aguilera. This time the title deciphers to "Welcome Home", and the video features the blonde woman first trapped in the attic of a little hut, then bursting out of it as a plant. Six crosses in the snow seem to indicate the dogs from previous videos paid dearly for their interruption of her moment with the foliage. The accompanying animal to this clip is the monkey. Over to you.

It's practically impossible to go by looks tho because they've distorted the face so much, in some videos she's even wearing a mask it's been said.

MTV recieved a package with a strand of blonde hair, some balsa wood and a letter with drawings of all the animals used in the videos so far from iamamiwhoami. Apparently balsa wood is mostly found in Ecuador and Christina is part Ecuadorian.
