Default so i was browsing through my old files...

and i found this massive folder my dad made for me when i was a kid with loads of good music from the 70s/80s/90/early 2000s that i never knew i still had. It has like Blondie, old school Green Day, AC/DC, Oasis, Radiohead, Kate Bush etc. I love my dad. <3

Listen to as much Kate Bush as you possibly can.

That line up is considerably ruined by Green Day.

no of course, but there's a difference between "i don't like them" and "they're bad" (admittedly i forced him into saying the latter as a matter of consequence, but still )

Led Zeppelin were one of many great British bands that did better overseas than in their home country (that includes the Beatles and Stones). People over here were more busy listening to the likes of Abba, Cliff Richard, Tom Jones and Neil Diamond. I'm sure Angus would have me placed infront of a firing squad for bitching so much about this country, but the average Brit probably has the most appalling taste in music in the world, next to the Germans.

Take a look at the figures.

Precisely, admittedly their songs (minus immigrant song which makes me want to slaughter lambs) aren't bad. I just don't run after anything critics tell me to. If I don't like it, I don't listen to it.
