It wouldn't surprise me if she gets a record deal but I doubt it's that much and I doubt she'll be that successful either.

She probably signed before she went in then, maybe one of the stipulations was that it depended on how well she was recieved before it was made official? That way it'd explain why we haven't heard of it till now.

Perhaps... anyhow I thought she had a wonderful voice and would have been a much better X Factor winner last year.

She has a beautiful singing voice, and I am surprised she has had to wait this long to get a record deal. However, the People newspaper does sometimes have a tendency to rehash bits and pieces from other papers, so I wouldn't put to much on the news item, at the moment anyway, it could be more speculation than anything else. Maybe Shaun and Stacey could do a different version of the 'Fairytale of New York'.

She needs to do work in TV, not music. I was never really a fan of her on X Factor. Lovely voice, but terribly dull. Last year's Rebecca. The fact that she came third in a TV talent show [her preferred field of work], but came first in an entertainment reality TV show speaks wonders.

I remember saying last year she'd make a great Big Brother housemate [similar to Jedward], and that was proved with her stint in IAC this year.

She's the biggest star from last years XF and had the best voice :') so it isn't a surprise, it's rumored that it's Universal who are gonna offer her the deal too

Without a shadow of a doubt ITV2 are going to give her a fly on the wall show and I wouldn't be surprised to see her get some form of job on This Morning- shes on there quite a lot as it is.

Can't see her as a chart success tbh. If you can't get success after XF then you ain't gonna get it from IAC.

Maybe musicals. But without doubt her future is more as a TV personality. Thats her strength by far. She will probably make a fortune one way or another....but not from music.
