and I don't really get this thing about prison being too soft, well, to some people it's a problem as they're fine with it and it's better than where they were before, but people would surely rather have their freedom then 3 basic meals, video games and a tiny roo

and people getting angry about them gaining qualifications, well if it gives them something to do and cuts the chances of them reoffending when they got out, which they probably would if they didn't gain any skills at all, I'm for it, but i'm a bit uneasy with them seemingly getting free degrees when normal decent people have to spend 15-20k on a degree alone

I don't think I feel bad for him, but I think he's a lot more sane than most of the people in there

That Welsh guy who beat the guy up for an hour and half when splitting up a fight was clearly a Sociopath. He didn't seem sorry at all.

They get it to easy in prison when they should be getting what they done to there victims.

It depends though, they're all different, some are sociopaths like the welsh guy, but some as they say on the show were decent human beings who're probably well educated but just one fit of rage and they lose it

As I said, for those people who are fully aware and have to live with the remorse and guilt, that's their main punishment, so I don't think they really need to live in an empty room with bread and water each day

and the psycho's..well they need psychiatric help

and Mockinator, this eye for an eye thing, capital punishment etc, well quite bluntly it's bull****

I'd be interested to see what one of those open prisons is like, you hear about them but they never seem to feature on any docs. Could see the guy who strangled his wife in one of them if he keeps up with the degree stuff.
