Mike isn't actually witty, he reads a script.
When a show has a disclaimer at the start saying 'some scenes were made for entertainment purposes only.' It means everything anyone ever says or does in the show is done for entertainment purposes only! Same goes to TOWIE, Geordie shore, the hills etc etc. They're just actors who pretend to not be actors.
If anybody likes this bloke because of something he's done outside of Jersey Shore, then fair enough, but right now, at the moment, he's just the main character of the worst 'reality' tv show ever who gets his 6 pack out because somebody is taking a photo.

Jersey Shore isn't fully scripted like the Essex thing, certain things are obviously put in place to make things more interesting, but the majority of it is real.

I was never like that.. The guy was ruining my favourite show! Every time he came on the screen, I wanted to punch kittens as some sort of revenge.
It's probably a bit early to say this but I'd imagine I'm gonna feel the same way about this guy.

That definition of douchebag doesn't sound anything like The Situation so that is wrong for a start, Situation has always had the biggest personality no matter what show he's on and not everything about Jersey Shore is scripted so your wrong there as well
