Anyone belive there would be a legitamate chance of him going on it?

Pro's
National press, would most definately make front page news on most if not all the big papers, even possibly break out on the news.
Which would equal a good bump in ratings
Probably not that expensive to convince ethier

Con's
Would be very detrimental to the crediability it has
Could arguably lead a mass protest in the house by other celeb's not wanting to be seen/associated with Glitter
Which in effect would make it very, very akward to attract even the average c/d lister CBB can still attract.

Personally i'd hope endemol would stay well clear of him.
However they did go for Michael Barrymore at a time when his rep was rock bottom and didn't appear to give a damn about his past or present, exploiting his issues and mental problems on the show.

Glitter probably hasn't and won't even be branded around the producers, but i've seen his name come to light abit in the press recently, and with the producers always wanting 1 or 2 that will grab headlines or have been in alot of press in recent months, Glitter came to my mind.

Highly unlikely, but that would certainly make the far left ridicule press coverage, and front page news etc.

But thats the kind of publicity Griffin thrives on, whether he'd seriously do CBB i doubt, but then again it's more publicity for BNP...I'd geniuely target that guy. Would raise viewing figures i'm sure of it.
