I think it would be a good idea if bbuk had a spin off where past (and/or new) housemates go back in the house and play the game with the American format in place and a higher prize fund. I think it would be interesting to see how difference past housemates wold behave with the American format and it would be better than having a summer Cbb.
What do you think? Discuss. |

It's time to ditch the public vote cause they never know what they're doing and adopt the superior and more interesting format. I'd at least like to see them trial it for one series at least because I think it'd be interesting to see British people trying to play that game |

I think it'd be great, whack the prize fund up to Ł250k this summer and tell them all about the new game and watch the housemates and viewers alike freak out I'd also be quite happy for them to tweak it a little if they wanted so that there's some public involvement. I mean you could always have the HoH nominate three people, do the Veto as normal and then let the public save someone on eviction night and then have the houseguests vote between the two left as normal. And then things like giving the viewers a jury vote. It might alter the game a little bit as well tbh |

Yeah I would like the public involvement too. Something like the MVP twist is a good idea I loved it especially when the public became the MVP. |

It would be 10 weeks of nomination talk, would bore the **** out of me after a few weeks.
Look at BB13 and how repetitive it got when they were allowed to discuss nominations. |

Yeah, I thought I might like them being allowed to discuss nominations but then it got annoying them all ganging up on certain people and I hated it

I agree, the whole nomination's talk bores me, I wouldn't mind dropping the public vote, it would mean there's a better chance of keeping the biggest characters in there. I prefer the entertainment rather than the game playing

The first two weeks of BB13 were the best in a long time because they were allowed to talk about nominations and it actually went downhill when that stopped, but that's beside the point...our format enables block voting that doesn't ever have to change meaning a bunch of crap housemates can hold the power all series, at least with the US format to get the power to initially put two people up you have to compete in a variety of competitions and you can't win in back-to-back weeks. You can still block vote people out of the house itself obviously, but there's still scope for the power to flip week by week, so I don't think the BB13 example is a fair one.
And there's plenty of entertainment and 'normal' stuff that comes with the US game. Of course there's a hell of a lot of strategy, noms and vote talk and that in itself can provide a lot of entertainment but there's also downtime where they just chat about normal things like any Big Brother internationally. |
