Default Is Gary able for the show?

Im not going to use the whole bullying thing because he isn't being bullied. He isn't isolated he's basically distancing himself but he mentally does not seem able for the show. He is getting confused so often, considering he wasn't able to enter the house un-escorted. He even forgot what he was arguing about when he was fighting with James. He obviously isn't in the right frame of mind for the show, even physically. He can't sleep outside because he is recovering from surgery? Why has he been aloud enter in the first place, its pretty obvious his agent signed everything without even consulting him and informing him what he was in for.

I think he would be fine if the housemates weren't so intolerant. His only ailment holding him back is his deafness.

And other housemates have been excused from tasks in previous BB due to health/medical reasons.

So to answer your question yes he is able, he just isnt being given a chance to integrate and it's not for the lack of trying but due to some nasty people that he is in there with.

Yeah I understand about the task exemption. The only person that hasn't really given him a chance is Stephanie and James. It seems like the rest are making an effort. I just think he seems to get very confused and forgetful.

Nah, it's more than just Steph and James treating him badly!
Now Leslie and Gary have fallen out Leslie (and James is doing it) is doing that thing where he speak for himself and includes everyone else by saying things like "we've all had enough of you" and "there's not one person in this house that you haven't offended". It's the behaviour of spiteful, mean people and just about all of the younger guys (David, Pricky and Audrey) have teamed up with James on it and are being dicks to Gary!
I think they all see him as major competition too so would love to see him gone!
Leslie isn't stupid either. He knows deep down that Gary will probably be popular with the viewers so i think he thinks that he stands a better chance of getting him to walk than he does of getting him evicted. That's another reason he chose him to sleep outside!
Leslie's a nasty piece of work and very mean spirited!

He is being bullied and he is being ostracised from the group. It is unfair for him to be nominated with Frenchy to reside on the scrapheap.

i think its going to go full circle - like the group i felt like that about gary but now after watching him for a weak i can see he is genuine and has problems and is finding it hard but i am hoping the group click this like i did and accept him as he is and make allowances.

he really is a bloke struggling but he has had so much in his life we can not blame him for how he is but just accept and try to help him fit in as best as possible - afterall the uk is meant to have so much compassion.

so at this point for me - gary to win.

..yeah I think he is..hasn't he done several reality and other type shows in the USA...?...I think the housemates are extremely intolerant and lacking in empathy toward him though...

..I do though think that in things like I'm a Celebrity if they're going to put people in that aren't able to do every task then they should have adapted the tasks in the first place to not 'exempt or exclude' that person and allow for any potential health issues in doing it so I think that they shouldn't have done the scrap heap one or somehow adapted it so that the housemates slept indoors....Gary should never have been put in the situation of being chosen and not been able to do it...

I agree to an extent Ammi, but I think it showed Leslie for what he really is, he spoke non stop about how he liked kind people, and how kind he himself is, Gary was never going to sleep outside at any rate, Frenchy said at the start of live feed he was going inside so it was arranged pretty quickly, so that will annoy Leslie even more I think I'm not even sure that Gary was in the main bedroom after night 1 !

So did I. Some of them are just plain cruel. BB is nuts, too, coming up with that task.

Big Brother is supposed to be a slice of society, we can't leave some people out of that.
