At least that's what the Busey fans would have you believe... That's actually quite complimentary to James to think that 1 man could be so influential over the other hm's thought process....

As David said last night on BOTS.. and exactly as I've said from the start, WE see a heavily edited condensed hour from 24 hours recording, I can only imagine how irritating the bloke is 24 hours a day in a confined space. He does not listen to other people's opinion, he doesn't lift a finger, he doesn't even wash unless he is prompted to do so.. I cannot imagine, and don't want to imagine, just how bad he is to live with..

Also i´m not entirely sure, but i have not heard Edele and Claire to air their utter dislike for him either.

8 out of 12 nominated him. So that´s 8 in the house that possibly dislike him.

..I don't think they all dislike him to the same degree, I just think that for some it's the easiest option/he's an 'easy target' because it's not their 'agenda' to be getting involved in any confrontations...anyway, would he be annoying and irritating to live with..?..yeah, he would, it would require patience and tolerance...it's not expected that they would have that all of the time but they appear to have it none of the time...so maybe no, they're not all at fault in how they feel but they're all at fault in how they're acting on it...all it would take I think is one of them to say...'hey guys, this is wrong, let's stop mocking him and just spend a little time with him..just a little..'...

Its a game show, of course 12 can be intimidated by 1 if they see their reason for being on the show being taken away from under them.

They are all such a conceited and shallow bunch that they can't cope with anyone that is quirky and is confident of his own self worth. Its classic behaviour from a bunch of losers. If they had anything to them at all and Gary was so difficult to live with he would just be completely ignored. As it is, he is almost the sole topic of their conversation. Not one of them is capable of taking on Gary in terms of a rounded and interesting personality, they are just vile has been's trying to re-ignite some public interest in themselves and don't stand a chance of achieving that when dwarfed by the mighty Mr. Busey

..well no Vanessa but in honesty I wouldn't expect them to treat him the same because he's not family, it's different you know..?...but just have some tolerance for his hearing impairment and that he may want to talk about things they have no interest in..?...maybe they would find themselves being interested..?...but if not, then just give up a little of their time now and then and have consideration of how he must feel...

Id gamble that their granddad's show them respect, are not rude to them, do not need telling to have a wash, do not sit on their rears expecting the world to happen around them..

Shall we just not make assumptions about housemates families.. it's really not adding to the argument.. it's pointless. Im really unsure how you can compare people's relationship with close family members, and strangers...

I think they are just following the pack Chuff,like Lesley planted the seed that Gary was 'not nice' then you get James treating him like he's something to be ridiculed,and Stephanie who is just plain nasty and the others are so weak they just ride along with it,I've not liked what I've seen,I'm sure Gary is annoying but some of it cant be helped imo.

This is very much a mutual thing.. when they sit and talk to him about things THEY want to talk about, he is rude, SHHHHHH's them and interrupts them.. Maybe HE could be a little more tolerant of the other housemates, open HIS ears and close his mouth, listen to what THEY have to say because you know, he is a mere mortal the same as the rest of them... Do you honestly think he considers how any of the others must feel?
