Default 5 laws you would introduce/remove

Mine:

1) Abolish the House of Lords or make it democratically electable
2) Criminalisation of encouraging hate towards minorities
3) Lower the voting age to 16
4) Limit of one abortion unless in rape or serious illness, court case necessary if not the first time
5) Increased sentences for murder and rape

I'd agree with definitely 4 and the abortion one I could likely be persuaded on.

1)I would abolish the TV licence for all time.

2)This one may be controversial but I would ban all face coverings in public.
In the times we live in I believe we all should have the right to see clearly who we are walking the streets with and who we are shopping in stores with as indeed with all other public areas.

3) I would remove from the political arena the NHS and Education, ensuring there was continuity and protection as to both to stop them being used as political footballs between the Parties.

4)I would have added to criminal charges an additional clause of intent, such as if someone kidnapped a child, not only would they be prosecuted for that act but the intent too.
If for example,a child was taken by adults not known to them, then it would be unlikely they were taking them for to see a movie and only to give them sweets.
I would have the intent added so that in all cases the charge was magnified with a much longer and stiffer sentence being the norm.

5) I would take back into public ownership energy.
The competition and cheaper/fair pricing for energy promised at privatisation of same has not materialised at all and I would end the ripping off of customers who have to have the energy.

Absolutely loads more,in fact I think I would want to try to go back to the drawing board as to most things and laws and start again.

Legalise cannabis/ecstasy and decriminalise everything else, including heroin and cocaine.

Lower voting age to 16 and also smoking age back to 16.

Can't think of anything else at this point but definitely agree with Joey's point on the TV licence thing.

1.
Deport all illegal immigrants currently living in the UK immediately and never allow them back in and also close down any businesses/organisations run by illegal immigrants.

2.
Ban people of all ages (including kids) from wearing crocs/sandals with socks, if you want to wear crocs/sandals in public, wear them WITHOUT socks because other people are bound to laugh at you if you wear them with socks!!!

3.
Abolish immigration altogether, this may be controversial but the amount of foreigners in the UK is starting to get ridiculous nowadays and urgently needs to be cut down. (e.g. telling them the UK is full up and they need to move to other countries or deporting all the illegals no matter their situation as I mentioned in point 1)

4.
DEATH PENALTY for murderers no matter who they murder whether it's children, adults or the elderly.

5.
Dismember any dogs that maul/attack young children and give the dog owners a life sentence in prison or maybe even a death penalty depending on what age the child is.

I love that is one issue you and I have always agreed on arista, it will happen one day and the party that dares to say it will do it, will likely win a landslide in an election.

They need to get rid of the TV license and just move BBC to being a paid-for channel, that you purchase annually to watch their channels, iPlayer etc.

I don't agree with everyone saying that they should lower voting age to 16 i don't this people at that age are really my mature enough or ready to vote. Imo 16-18 is when you really start to become interested in and discussing politics and start to form an opinion for yourself.
If I was asked to vote at 16 I would of probably ended up voting for whomever my parents were voting for.

If that was the case then you'd receive the same percentage anyway. Also, people pay tax at 16 so why shouldn't they be allowed to vote?

I agree with the voting age being made 16, I would have voted different at 16 to what I did when I was 18,however that is just as I took more notice of what the Political parties were saying.
I see no reason not to reduce the voting age to 16 now.

It may well be not that many decide to use the vote but I think they have the right to be given that choice.

1. Help those who become homeless by re-homing them in homeless units instead of ridiculing and belittling them and making them feel as they have lost their worth to society
2. Bring back the death penalty to those who commit evil, heinous crimes
3. Abolish the license fee and make BBC an advertising funding TV station
4. Scrap the minimum wage and make it lawfully enforceable to have a living wage of £7.50 per hour outside of London and £8.50 inside
5. Make MP expenses illegal which will help fund the living wage. Either a pay increase or expenses, they cannot have both.
