This was the last series I watched daily way back in 2005, for me I think this , alongside the first two series and series 5 are the best Big Brother has offered apart some Celeb BB series. What struck me about this series looking back and watching clips on YouTube was how entertaining it was for all the wrong reasons,I personally did not have a favourite, even the winner Anthony.
Regardless, I believe the producers of the show nailed it in terms of finding the characters needed to give the public entertainment, such as: Derek, an odious individual who's persona did not differ that much from the character Jafar from the cartoon movie Aladdin. Anthony, pretty lazy in my view, sat around on his arse admiring himself most of the time whilst expecting all the meals to be cooked for him. One thing I will say is from what was broadcast he did a decent job handling that creep Craig and his tantrums most of the time. Sam, looked a bag of nerves most of the time and her only coping mechanism was to pull a strange smirk wearing next to nothing. Craig, I found his breakdowns uncomfortable as well as his "friendship" with Anthony. I did find him amusing when he was being bitchy though. Maxwell, the only time I laughed at this set of teeth with light bulb eyes jokes was when he described Kemal as a "toilet brush with a cöck". Embarrassing "showmance" with weather ballon boobs Saskia, about as genuine as Cilla Black. His arguments with Roberto and Science did bring some entertainment though. Science, if ever a young man reeked of insecurity it was him. He spoke his mind but a lot of his argumentative skills were based on brute force contradiction and name calling. He was fun to watch but I could not live with him, he would of drove me insane. Makosi, some of the housemates knew how much of a twisted personality she was but wouldn't confront her over her slimy ways. She brought great entertainment though I have to say. She knew what she was doing and the show was better for her presence. The rest I found fairly disinteresting but together as one brought the last great Big Brother imo. The Channel 5 BB's pale in comparison. Last edited by Raphael; 22-09-2014 at 07:03 PM. |

He was great to watch for me as he was such a sly individual, he didn't seem to care which made it even more amusing
