Default Week Two: Dances and song

The second Strictly Come Dancing 2014 live show is here and so are Week 2′s dances and songs!

This Saturday night it’s a second week of Strictly live shows as the fifteen celebs and their pro partners dance again.

They’ll face the critical panel of judges – Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and Darcey Bussell – who will mark each performance out of ten.

But this week they’ll also face the public vote for the first time with the viewer opinions and judges’ points determining the bottom two.

Those unlucky couples will have to perform again in Sunday night’s results show and one will be booted out of the competition.

Without further ado…

The first elimination looms on Strictly Come Dancing 2014 this weekend, and things aren’t looking good for Gregg Wallace.

Gregg’s Charleston to ‘Hey Good Looking’ during last weekend’s first live show fell flat and now’s he is favourite to be the first celebrity to face the axe at 7/4.

Tim Wonnacott could be set to Waltz out of the competition after a miserable score of 18 sees him priced as the 11/4 second favourite to be eliminated.

And Judy Murray was being shuffled about the dancefloor by partner Anton during their rather lifeless Cha Cha and she is 5/1 to go. Jennifer Gibney’s performance was reminiscent of a mother at a wedding and she is not safe at 11/2.

Scott Mills may have finished bottom of the leaderboard but at 13/2 could survive the first elimination. Sunetra Sarker is 14/1 to go with Alison Hammond and Steve Backshall both looking ready for round three at 28/1.

Safe Celebrities include 11/4 favourite Frankie Bridge and Pixie Lott and Simon Webbe who are both 4/1 to win. Fan favourite Caroline Flack looks safe as she is 5/1 for the Glitterball Trophy with Thom Evans behind her at 7/1.

Aoife Heffron from Boylesports said: “Gregg Wallace’s Charleston fell flat and he crumbled under the pressure. He will need to be as light as a soufflé if he wants to stay in the competition as he is number one suspect to go.”

She added: “Scott Mills did finish bottom of the leaderbaord but it looks as though the DJ has a lot more to give and could pull it out of the bag at the weekend. At 13/2 he may just pull through to next week.”
