Default Urban fox problem

We have a bit of an urban fox problem where I live, what would be the best humane way of treating it?
I'm going to contact the council as they are getting fat too tame.

( serious question, genuine responses only please)

Find out the source of their feeding and put a stop to it, someone must be feeding them or leaving out food that they can easily get to.

You can buy some sort of repellents too I think, to scare them off, they mark their territory so it must make them think it's already marked by another group of foxes or something like that?

We have wheelie bins so wouldn't think they could get in but they must be coming for something like you say, will ask about.
Will look into the repellents, big dogs aren't enough of a repellant that's for sure you would think the scent of my dog would deter them but nooooo.
Duke thinks their droppings are delish too

Could someone be feeding it in secret?

Awww i love foxes

I don't like them screaming in the night though

Lots of people feed them scraps at this time of year, i have an aunty who does this (even though i tell her not to!)

there is a fox over population problem, and as their numbers grow the more they will need to go in to populated areas to get food. I hate them, they are a pest, their population needs to be controlled.

they need to be killed off, there are too many... (Not in a way where they get chased, that's awful... but farmers need to be able to keep their sheep/chickens etc safe, cause foxes are the worst killers)

and this is coming from someone who loves foxes
