Strictly Come Dancing head judge Len Goodman appeared to swear live on TV - forcing co-host Zoe Ball to apologise to viewers for his bad language.
The 70-year-old got carried away in his effusive praise of Simon Webbe and Kristina Rihanoff's Argentine Tango and could be seen muttering the word "******" before stopping himself. "I think it's something about this place actually, Tess," he began, referring to the special episode set in Blackpool. "Something about the atmosphere, the audience are behind everyone, the home of dance." Len then quietly began to say the four-letter expletive much to the surprise of the studio audience and host Tess Daly. http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/s...oodman-4635990 Last edited by erinp5; 15-11-2014 at 09:26 PM. |

He's known as the judge who doesn't hold back when it comes to handing out critiques on Strictly Come Dancing contestants' performances.
But Len Goodman, 70, insists he's not the type to turn the air blue in the midst of a live broadcast - as it was presumed he did during last Saturday's episode of the top-rated BBC show. 'I’m convinced that I didn’t swear so I have asked the BBC to get a sound man who can really sort of isolate words and things and see if I did because as far as I know I didn’t swear,' he told the Daily Express. I never heard him swear but even if he did, so what, it's only a word. People need to get real, we have to see Carolyn Flack with her horrible slag tag on her back and people are concerned about a swear word, it's crazy.
